MARKTALKS

Marktalks is an initiative taken by the Marketing Society of Shaheed Bhagat Singh College, with the goal of bringing in marketing industry experts to empower students with knowledge and gaining expertise and advice from those who have been there and done it all. The purpose of MarkTalks is to gather the real-world experiences of marketing experts and to inspire and motivate the younger generation.

For the inaugural episode of MarkTalks, the marketing society of Shaheed Bhagat Singh College proudly presents to you Mr Nikhil Dhar, the marketing director of Indigo. Mr Dhar made several compelling arguments about how crucial it is to comprehend and analyse changes in consumer behaviour. He also provided information about how marketing is changing. The counsel of Mr Dhar to keep learning and be open to new challenges is truly inspiring.

Marksoc presents you the second episode of 'MarkTalks', where our hosts engage in a serious conversation with Mr Tarun Jha, the Head of Marketing at Skoda Auto Volkswagen India Pvt. Ltd. Mr Jha explained the effects of COVID-19 on the industry and highlighted his 20-year marketing journey in the automobile sector. He even related the story of Skoda's successful pandemic-era marketing effort. Many fresh marketing viewpoints were revealed through a thorough discussion, along with Mr Jha's secret to being a great marketer and a fun rapid-fire round.

For the third episode of 'Marktalks' we have Mr Priyank Ahuja, product manager at Accenture, Mentor and critical speaker at more than 150 webinars. In this session he talks about how having an MBA aids in management consulting and shares with us how he got started on LinkedIn—he enlightened us about the potential of product management as a career path and the fundamental training programmes and certifications that help in entering any area of commerce. Also, describe the abilities that will be most valuable in the post-pandemic era. Ultimately, he advises our audience to explore new fields and opportunities because they help people grow.

In the opening episode of Season 2 of 'Marktalks', Mr Sunil Yadav, Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer of Vistaar Financial Services Pvt.Ltd., discusses his experiences thus far and how he overcame all of Covid 19's hurdles. How he contributed to the launching of Indian Idol when there was no internet. As a book critic, he also recommends several books to our audience and shows us that learning never stops because even at his age, he is enrolled in an executive management programme.

We’re back again with another episode of our interview series MARKTALKS Season 2 an initiative by The Marketing Society SBSC. For this episode, We have with us Mr.Ayush Kumar, currently serving as The Management Consultant at KPMG India. His interests include case competitions and public speaking and he has also been a part of many interviews, podcasts, talk sessions, and seminars. We hope this conversation will give you insightful information on various subjects including marketing, strategy, corporate outreach, etc.

The wait is over, as we’re back with a new episode of MARKTALKS Season 2, an initiative started by The Marketing Society SBSC.
For this episode we have with us, Mr Jaison Thomas who is the Co-founder & Digital Marketing Consultant at Bluesteak Media.
